Oh boy, oh boy. I love the new gene! Opal is so beautiful with it’s subtle (and sometimes less subtle) gradient and sheen! I feel it’s very much what I had hoped gembond would’ve been like.

Not sure if unpopular opinion, but ah well. 

I’m super happy about the new colour additions coming to FR. It’s like a big breath of fresh air after such a long time. (I registered somewhere in 2013, it feels like an eternity spent with this restricted amount of colours.) 

I sincerely hope that now after they update their system, they do actually add some colors every now and then, despite currently saying they won’t. Disrupting breeding pairs? That’s honestly much preferable to letting the game stagnate in a state which never changes. (I mean, games like World of Warcraft has been around over ten years solely because it’s kept changing. If it hadn’t, I sure as hell wouldn’t have played it for TEN YEARS.) 

And hey, you created a breeding pair once, you can do it again. More variety is better anyway because it might also enable some color combos from the old wheel that didn’t quite work before because a certain hue was missing which would perfect the palette. (I sure as heck have faced this problem before.) Just because it’s “uncomfortable” to have to do stuff shouldn’t mean that the game needs to keel over and never evolve.

As a side note, I do have breeding pairs too, I’ve had breeding pairs before, and I’m absolutely bored to death of them as it is because of the same colours over and over again.

Still really super happy with this boy that hatched from a nocturne egg for me. <3 No scatterscrolls or anything! Red/Magenta/Blue. I'm so happy. *u*

Now I just need to shimmer-up his wings and he's all done. <3 (Maybe find a nice accent that compliments his colors.

Quick question: I was looking at the skin blueprints page and there's a red bolded text at the bottom saying "Additionally, beyond the packages available here, we are not currently offering "re-prints" of skins you have already purchased."

What... is that supposed to mean? I hope it's not that I cannot keep buying a blueprint for the same skin design multiple times or something?
