Reclaiming Earth
Summary: After the ending of Darksiders 1, the Kingdom of Man has slowly been trying to take back their home through sabotage and guerilla tactics. Center stage is the Reader, who’s recently been taking care of an injured -and luckily unconscious- demon in the hopes pitting him against the remnants of the Destroyers army. A strategy which has been working out fine... so far.
Imagine saving the life of a phantom guard.
To return the favour through some, begrudging sense of duty, he starts shadowing you as you go about your life on Earth, watching over you from the sidelines.
You spot him a few times and always give a friendly wave until he shuffles over. Soon, you discover his name. Volgak.
Time passes, you become friends, and as more time passes, he comes to the perturbing realisation that ‘yes,’ it is in fact possible for demons to fall in love.
