This amazing fanfic was a ride, a faithful weekly or so companion during a shaky shaky year. Your talent to pull the audience, give Hiccup such a twist but still keep him Hiccup, still make him believable, have blown all of us away. You made this story hurt in the most joyful way! 

I can only hope you’ll enjoy this small piece of art, just a quarter of how much I enjoyed The Phantom.

Let’s have a glass of vine

More than half a year ago, I saw a bunch of posts and fan art about this fic, The Phantom of the Arena. After a short while, I took a look at it and started reading. And it hooked me from the start! Since then, the story has taken its course, and now, it’s come to an end. The final chapter has been posted.

Through it, I have made a new friend and got to know a bunch of great people. I discovered my love for the story and songs of the musical of The Phantom of the Opera, although I am not really a musical person. All of this thanks to @aleteia-ff​ and her amazing work.

@celtictreemuffin​ and @hey-its-laura-again​ had this great idea of doing a little celebration after the fic has been completed. It gave me the last bit of motivation I needed to finally make this thing.

I am infinitely glad that I found this fic. And I’m looking forward to rereading it, to keep digging into its world with its creator and the people she has gathered around her because of it. If I had more time, I could keep going, write a whole essay about everything that happened to and around me since - and because - I saw a few posts on Tumblr while scrolling through my feed. But since I don’t: I’mma just leave this here.
