Who you are is a secret.... phantom self reality is largely only what it can touch, taste, hear, see, and smell. These 'senses' are illusory constructs of a programmed brain... but the system doesn't want you to know that. His phantom self experiences this, too.
They sleep, and the future of the ghost of their former self flashes to mind. He is older, closer to Art by then, when the confession tumbles to the air- he now knows their father caused them pain.
"What is an alpha to do-?" Their own disembodied voice asks of him. "But be worthy of their might?"
Something feels wrong about the sentiment, but the thought of acting against it leaves a stone of guilt in their stomach. Sometimes, he reminds themself, seconds cannot compromise, and men have no choice but to settle affairs through duels at dawn. This is no different, he tries to tell himself.
His other self does nothing, and Art still lives in fear. In the end, it costs them both too much, and he hates themself for it. His claws detract.
To mobilise or to immobilise, with fear or love, that is the question!
We think, we feel and we act.
These are the fields of life of being, becoming and doing.
As of late, my appreciation, awareness and consciousness of all that is around me underwent a major phase transformation from one of eternal chaos to one of infinite ordering. And that which was good, beautiful and true in this world screamed for attention.
