I'm always baffled at how my generation went so deep into wanting to be just and moral that they've swung back into purity culture and censorship, like baby, that toxic ship someone else likes isn't a reflection of their moral standing, a piece of media SHOWING something that pertains to a person being bad or relationship being bad ISN'T ROMANTICISING IT. Also you lot have got to remember what romanticising means, your just fucking up the vocabulary. Especially in fandom spaces where its literally built. somehing something Fundy quackity dream and schlatt at a ball. dream says something that upsets Fundy and he starts crying, and q see brings Fundy into the bathroom to calm him down. q starts talking about what he wanted in life when he was younger and Fundy chimes in. q wanted the whole suburban shebang , he wanted the white picket fence, the 2.5 kids. and all he got was a shitty husband and a kid who he adored, but hey atleast he's not back where he started. Fundy truly just wanted someone that loved him and gave him attention. instead he got a husband that was barely home and clearly in love with someone else. they continue talking until schlatt and dream start to get suspicious and go find them. they find the two talking and giggling about nothing in particular.

It’s unhealthy how long it takes me to decide between Mages and Templars. I have this problem every time I replay this game.

I hate the templars, I really do. I’m a Mage almost every time, and siding with the Templars? That shit just doesn’t jive with me. Fuck the templars.

But damn it all if BioWare doesn’t tempt me every single time with Calpernia.

For such a minor antagonist? Immaculate. There’s a layer to her that Samson just doesn’t have. Samson is a wet paper towel in comparison, boring, bland. I didn’t like him in DA2, I don’t like him in DAI, I could care less about Samson.

But Calpernia? I’m a sucker for the “horribly misguided but well intentioned revolutionary” trope. I hope she does show up in DA4, I hope I get to see her again, I hope she’s become best buddies with Dorian and started reinventing the Imperium like she always wanted. She deserves it.

Like how dare you BioWare, how dare you hide her behind the templars.
