It was supposed to be cloudy today, so Uzi didn't bring her strongscreen. Why would she need it, right? And why would she doubt the weather report when the Stars run the whole damn island? If they want it to be accurate, they can make it accurate. Of course, they could be targeting her specifically, especially since she keeps making vague threats towards them. Yes, that's probably it.
There's some abandoned buildings in Fibonacci, and no one really cares if you squat in them for a bit. Uzi frowns at the sunlight staining the floor a few feet away, giving it a wide berth. She hasn't died yet in this city, and if she's going to bite it she'll find a cooler way to do it.
Or maybe the other person in the building is trying to assassinate her or something. They're either not good at sneaking or don't care, and it's annoying either way. Uzi's tail snakes out of her backside and shines a light in the direction of the footsteps she keeps hearing, the beam spilling from its toothy maw.
"I know you're there," she says, not turning. "If you're gonna try and skulk, could you do it quietly? You're bothering me."
