Today in “how is the thesis going” part-who-knows

Earlier i went to the uni to ask some very specific questions to my professor, then he politely asked me when i’m going to send him The Sacred Texts™ so i told him “they are ready (which was true btw), i need to edit some things but i’m DEFINITELY going to send them today, no excuses, even if i send them at 2.30 am” and here i am keeping my word and sending almost the whole fucking thesis at 2.30 am. On friday. Yaaaaaaaaaaay...

Today in: how is the thesis going? (2)

In the morning...

I have to say it: i’m lucky to have a professor who’s really worried about how my thesis is going. And by that i mean that he goes to the lab regulary to ask if i need helps or stuff like that. When my professor (let’s call him “P”) or someone else help me with stuff i like to give them “treasures” (food, usually something sweet).

So today I was figuring something important (i was kinda stuck on the matter) when he showed up and asked:

P: so...How’s everything? Did you read the paper I sent to you?

me: uh...Hmmm...Yep, and no. I need to check some details and then I’m gonna work...I guess?

P: But everything is fine?

me: yup!

P: ...

P: So..Should i leave?

Then we both got silent. I looked at him with dead eye, and then I realized what’s going on. I started to laugh and then he laughed too.

me: I don’t have any food today!!! Hahaha!!!

P: I was expecting that...

me: WAIT! I do have something, a cheap cereal bar. I bought them ‘cause they were cheap, but I didn’t like them so...

Everyone in the lab (professor + 2 guys): I want them!!!

P: If you are not going to eat them, it’s better to give them to someone else !

They all said the cereal bar tasted regular, i just found them really awful.

In the afternoon (lunch time)...

T (a girl who works there): Ok F (another student), let’s watch something on your computer. F: Something like what? T: You are the expert here. Choose something

F: Hmm...Lets choose something together?

T: Ok, no, no, not that...What’s that!? I can’t even...

F: I don’t know, I don’t care, it’s anime

me (in a super soft voice): whaaaaaaaaat iiiiiiiiiif....WewatchCastlevania?

F: OH RIGHT!!! I WANTED TO SEE IT!!!!

T: What’s that?

F: you are going to know soon

And that’s how we spent the lunch time watching Castlevania in the lab...
