I was thinking about how Omen and Auger both feel like they're mama's boys but then I realized that the only reason for that is because she's always accompanied by her awful husband. Whenever they show up, she's always shown to care just a little more than Caddock, if only by a small amount.

Like, yeah, their mother must feel like the only source of real love in that house, even if she's cold and distant, because the other option is a man who has managed to become one of the most arrogant, negative people in Phase 2 in under ten scenes in the books. Next to him, her words don't seem as bad, even if they are terrible on their own.

Silly headcanon

I’m convinced that Murdoc in phases 1-2 maybe 3? Cut his fringe (bangs for Americans) with a bowl. I mean just look at it! He so did.

He probably only washes it with soap too. Like no shampoo or conditioner or anything just a bar of soap that probably has mould growing on it or something.

How should I color the phase two covers?

Hi, yes, I'm the crazy person that finished (!!) all the phase one covers and now I'm moving on to bigger better the next things. Here's my thought process so far: Overall, I'm gonna do what I did with Phase One: I'll keep the characters the same, in the same spots. - I'll keep the big color splashes in the backgrounds. Imo that's what makes these six books scream "WE'RE PHASE TWO" and set them apart from Phase One, which had a ton of empty space (which I fixed more or less)

- I'll improve anatomy and make the lighting make more sense

- I'll do two versions, one with a whiteish canvas and one with a blackish canvas

But! I don't like how inconsistent the colors are. Two books are black and white, two are monochrome-ish, one is in full color and one is like... kinda colored???

So. We're gonna pick ONE style, either black and white, fully colored or monochrome, and run with it.

Here are really bad tracings (yeah yeah) of your options for three of my options: you're just gonna have to use your imagination for the rest, I believe in you

Note: You're getting the splash and color accents/lighting no matter which one you pick because again, that's what makes the phase two covers stand out- they're vividly one color

How should I color these?

A - Muted Colors (between b/w and colored)

B - Fully Colored, Vivid splash

C - Fully Colored, Dull splash (similar to Phase One)

D - Black and White

E - Monochrome based on splash

F - Fuck you, redraw them as they are
