I know I didn't tell you guys about my stick insect friend I got last Christmas, I named it Jésus, here he is :

Welp, this big boi (the beast was the size of my hand) passed recently and I was very sad, I got told he was already very old and with lifespan of 9 months I was very thankful to have him for 4 whole months.

I miss him a lot, and bc of lockdown I couldn't go adopt an other friend... Now, lockdown will be lifted in 2 days, and I was like "oooh yeah, guess it's stick-insect time!!!" And just this evening, while passing by the terrarium look what we noticed

DOZENS OF BABIES. FRESHLY HATCHED. A WEEK OLD AT MOST. THEY'RE EVERYWHERE. AND THEY'RE SO SMOL!!!!

Turns out Jésus was a female, and laid tons of eggs during her time with us (stick insects don't need partners to reproduce).

Thanks Jésus for this very inconvenient yet adorable gift! I promise to take care of them 😊😁
