After Robert had that seizure, I always pictured Aaron feeding him some horrible greasy shit while they were waiting at the hospital, cause it helps the pain and after a seizure you can barely do anything without help. My friends have done this for me many times so I like to assume Aaron would absolutely do the same for Rob.

What they didn’t tell Liv is that Robert had a second, much larger seizure in the ambulance on the way to the hospital, and when he came round from it he could barely hold himself upright. It was terrifying, and Aaron realized that this must have been how Robert felt when he’d rushed him to hospital with sepsis all that time ago - and then they hadn’t even been friends, really, just sort of acquaintances, but he’d still dropped everything to get him help that day.
It was even worse now that they were together again, this time for good, with Robert whimpering in pain on his shoulder and looking like he might pass out at any moment, clinging to him like a monkey.
He refused to leave his side, bringing him water and helping him to drink it through a straw to supplement the IV of fluids he had to have, helping him eat a few biscuits to get his blood sugar up so he’d have more energy, having to break them up into small pieces because he was too tired and too weak to hold and eat a whole one by himself.
It was one of the scariest experiences of Aaron’s life, and he would make damn sure it never happened again, because he had too much to lose now.
