I know we've through struggles in different ways. We have different stories. They maybe be good or bad and sometimes somehow it seemed the year only passed us by leaving us with empty hearts. It seemed we remember the struggle, the heartaches but is that really our story? . Whatever we've been through is only part of it. And we may feel that we deserve every inch of the struggle but more of that we deserve to create a better story. All the broken ways we've been only lead us to something we deserve. Why do we always hurt the ones we love? Or sometimes take them for granted? And sometimes in an unfortunate moment we tend to run away from people who love us way too much. Maybe it's because we don't feel the same way they do. Or if we feel something, it might not be as strong as what they have. Will we ever get to that moment to even look back at them and think how lucky we are to have people to appreciate us despite of our imperfection? People who are capable of falling in love with our flaws. . Maybe we haven't thought of the idea of how we really are special to them and we'll always never know. Maybe we haven't thought how it feels for them to love us. I wonder if it will ever hit us. We meet a lot of temporary people in our life. We are never sure who's staying and who's going away. Sometimes being so attached to a person is easy but difficult when you have to let them go. And of all the people we meet, we are sometimes confused if one of them is meant for something more. Sometimes memories happen and memories go away. . Perhaps at one point in life, we'll meet that one friend who's going to make a difference. Someone who understands our tears rather than only see our smile. Maybe that loneliness we feel is just a way for us to see who's worth it because it's in loneliness, somehow, that we see the real people. . There are no strings in the world that attach us. I spent my morning contemplating on myself. On how I've been so far with my life. People have been asking what's behind my story. Or how I've been doing. And honestly I don't know. I guess I'm just so preoccupied with the thought that I'm used to be just with myself. That it's hard to lean on people who aren't willing to do the things you'd do for them. Sometimes I catch myself thinking how it's like to be with someone. Someone who accepts my imperfection. . I've always been open to people who needed someone to share their problems with. I love the thought they trust me. And weird as it seems, sometimes, to be honest, I wonder how it feels like to be them for having someone like me. To have someone I can run to anytime without hesitations. Not that I praise myself for that, it's just that maybe I might never find someone who's willing to do things for me like I'd do for them. Someone like me or better. Weird. . But nevertheless, here I am, as always. Despite of the things I've been through I'm still okay. A lot of things changed, new untold stories but here I am still. People are not always permanent. Others walk away at some point while some stay for as long as they can. It's sometimes sad to think that not everyone can stay when you need them too and not everyone can be like how you'd like them to be. . People are there and then they're gone. There's no guarantee who will stay. But maybe with that brief moment we can make them feel valued. That even if we know they won't be there for us forever, we are thankful they are here now. .
