why is physics so dangerous lol

Petition for nanofab labs to start carrying gloves in the right size for people with smaller builds... mine slid down on me when i was submerging a sample in HF and now it's TBD whether or not im gonna have a nasty chemical burn. dealt with it immediately so professor says im fine, but if it turns out we're wrong i will likely lose my fingernail and badly damage my fingertip :( at least the potential exposure would be below lethal amounts
