4, 6, 20, 54, 93, 95 and another: what kind of cocktails do you make? hope you're safe and well 💜✨
OMG this was sent in forever ago, finally going through my inbox
4. how did your elementary school teachers describe you?
precocious! and probably annoying -- I took things too literally, and I would get very particular about things like the difference between a coat and a jacket (I stand by them being different things!)
6. pastel, boho, tomboy, preppy, goth, grunge, formal or sportswear?
20. preferred place to write (i.e., in a note book, on your laptop, sketchpad, post-it notes, etc.)?
on my laptop :) I can type so much faster than I can handwrite
during nanowrimo though, I’ll write on my phone during my commute or in a notebook to transfer it over later
54. what did you learn from your first job?
my first job was being a receptionist at a family friend’s business. I learned how to do small talk with adult women there, for sure (it was an all-women company!)
I also learned that the job you sign up for is not necessarily the job that you do -- I thought I’d be answering phones and greeting people, but instead I spent a lot of time doing industry-specific paperwork (which was interesting!) and writing VBA scripts in Excel
I go by Ellie online ;) it’s a derivative of my real name haha
95. favorite app on your phone?
oooh this is tough. I really like “Happy Color,” I color pictures in every night when I’m trying to sleep but my thoughts are racing
probably the best app on my phone is daylio, a mood tracker where you can also log activities. I can see “oh okay, if I walk the dog I’m usually in a better mood” vs “wow when I spend a lot of time on social media in the morning I feel like trash” vs “oh gee, therapy makes me feel numb/meh” (I plan to be inaccessible for like an hour afterwards now)
