Being forced to do a phd, simply because a dla is not accepted is focking torture. Don't get me wrong I enjoy my silly little science, but the fact that I have no time for my art is slowly killing me. I have a full time job on top of my studies so there really is nothing I can do here.

Finding my ways to reconcile with my learnings.
welcome to under review, emotionally.
i’m nearing the end of my phd, though not in the way i imagined. things around me have shifted — suddenly, drastically — and i’m still finding the ground beneath it all. this space is a record of that transition: the quiet chaos of closing one chapter while the next one begins before i’m ready.
expect science-adjacent thoughts, late-night ramblings, and the occasional meme about academic despair. all lowercase, mostly sincere.
Day 2/n
Some morning screen-free time today before we begin. It's raining outside so weather is pleasant too.
I'm trying to start and stick to a routine (getting back to diligent work is so hard). And the aim is small, only an hour of deep work. Then we will see where we go from there.
And, I'm waiting for my laptop stand to be delivered so that I can finally set my small study corner up.
my phd committee : you need to follow at least 150 hours of trainings/seminars over the 3 years of your contract me : i've done 245 in the first 10 months is that okay ? :)
