Name: Jennifer
Nickname: Jenn, Shamy, Sheldon, Jenn-Jenn, Jennavee
Birthday: June 22
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Asexual
Height: 5’8"
Time zone: Eastern
What time and date is it there: 9/7/14, 8:02pm
Average hours of sleep I get each night: I average 4-6 because I have trouble getting into a routine. I need 8-9 though, so I'm working on a schedule because I am currently exhausted and stressed.
OTPs: I don't think I really have any.
The last thing I Googled was: The addresses of residential treatment centers where some of my clients are placed.
What I last said to a family member: I told my dog, Tonks, to "Go on," because she randomly stops on the stairs to sniff bugs, but my hands were full and I was about to drop stuff on her. If it has to be a human, it was when I said something like "Love y'all, bye," to my cousins this afternoon.
One place that makes me happy and why: The library. There are so many books full of words, ideas, truths, lies, fantasies, and pictures just waiting to be discovered. There are entire worlds that I can escape into whenever I want. And there is a wonderful hidden corner upstairs in the back where the sun shines in the late afternoon and it gets all lovely and warm. I like to lie there in the floor and read.
How many blankets I sleep under: Right now I have 2 because I just moved and that's all I have. I'm getting more, because I need more, or at least thicker, heavier ones to feel secure and sleep better. I'm getting a thicker, fluffy comforter when I have more money, and I also really want a weighted blanket.
Favourite beverage: Cherry Coke, Coffee, Darjeeling
The last movie I watched in the cinema was: The Giver.
Three things I can’t live without: Cuddles, art, books.
A piece of advice for all my followers: Pursue what you are actually interested in and not what everyone else wants you to do/be/like. It makes life so much more interesting when you do what you are passionate about.
You have to listen to this song: I know it's popular right now, but "Let it go." I can't help but also hear it as being about escaping and coming to terms with an isolated, abusive childhood/self-harm/depression/anxiety and beginning to understand what life can be despite all of that. If you are sick of that, Little Wonders by Rob Thomas.
My blog(s): I just have this one.
