He struggles to connect to most people, both in feeling like he understands them and feeling understood. He feels like there’s a barrier between him and everyone else. This has lessened somewhat in recent years with him making a lot of improvements in his social skills, and he definitely feels the closest to Hitori out of anyone, but it will probably never go away completely. He’s never going to shake the feeling of being an outsider.

@pheasantly This is why I’m being baffled to myself about this instead of bothering the person about their headcanon. OP could easily be autistic and I’m not going to tell them that they can’t claim a character they like and find relateable just because I don’t like it. And like. They are one person on the internet, they don’t have much of an influence on widespread stereotypes of autistic people.

...also, Shuu is still a way more sympathetic and likeable than the character I was upset about hddhhdhdjdjsjsjdj
