Phenexis seems wholly unconcerned with her nudity, standing there as casual as ever.

“Oh! Yeah! Dinner sounds great, its been a hard day today, lots of physical work. I actually just finished a shower a little while ago, I just finished drying.” She fluffs her feathers and shakes them into place.

“I’ll go get dressed!” She turns and taps away, tail lifted in excitement, giving Ava a peek of that freckled butt. “Are we going out or cooking here and if out whats the casualty level!” She calls from the rented bedroom as she pops into a room much larger than the closet she walked into. Picking out something easy to wear in her harpy form.

Phenexis squeals and leaps out of the way. She was currently in her harpy form, as she was working as a “hero” atm. Though she really hated that terminology.

“No! But you are! What in the deep waters of chardona is wrong with you! You don’t just attack someone for asking a question!” The woman flies feet away from the crazed man.

“I get you hate the league and you mistrust them, which in all honesty is a fair point, I don’t myself fully trust everyone in there, but there are some really good people, good wholesome people who care about the safety of the world and america in there! You don’t have to trust them, but wouldn’t working towards the same goals and maybe with them be a good thing? Also id appreciate it if you wouldn’t try to kill me! I got and get enough of that on a daily basis! Thankyou!” She just wanted to talk to the man she had always thought was such a brilliant and caring person. Perhaps she had misjudged the man. Or maybe his transformation had warped his mind.

“Yes! I did give you feathers! I give them to people because they are pretty and useful. You are very welcome, I do hope their magical properties serve you well, of they at least make pretty charms. Mister shaw is…abrasive but he has never been outright rude to me, suspicious sure, but most people are suspicious of me because of my “sunshiny disposition.” Or whatever the saying.” She shrugs, smiling as she almost always did

“Though I am not sure what he meant by one of yours. Do you have many bird associated apothecaries?”

The air was thick with an energy Phenexis recognized on a cellular level rather than a mindful one and as soon as she got close the energies forced her human form away and brought forth the Phoenix, or as much of it as her halfling blood would allow. The way it happened was strange. Normally she had to die and be reborn from her flames. But stepping close enough to this forest just forced the change without the catalyst of death. Honestly she kind of preferred it this way. Dying, even if you didn’t stay dead, Sucked.

“Woah. How in the world….” She looked over her suddenly transformed body, twisting , turning, contracting and relaxing her limbs as if to do a systems check to make sure everything was running right.

“Well ok then.” She says to herself. Everything was in order and the universe was vast and strange. So this place forced spiritual energy front and center. Ok. Whatever. Time to go splorin!

With her flight wings forcibly exchanged for glide wings she made sure her backpack was on firmly but comfortable, her sword stashed away in her pack and replaced for wrist bound, backward curving gauntlet styled blades instead. They were easy to move with her glide styled wings and worked well in tight spaces. Though she didn’t really intend to use them, Phen was always ready for trouble. She had traveled the world long enough to know it was better to be safe than sorry. Even for immortals.

The harpy ponders this for a moment, scaled hand curled up at her mouth.

“I….Guess so. I’m fairly used to egg laying but it’s been kinda rough as of late so some medical aide beforehand might help. I just want it to go smoothly so I can get it done with. Lay my clutch and take a nap, so im back to ass kicking condition”. She replies.

“Would the others he weirded out if I put my eggs in the fridge or waterglassed them for future use?”

“I really am glad you decided to join me in the shop today Severus. Gosh it’s so weird to call you that. Im so used to calling you professor snape!” She laughs and opens a hidden doorway behind a bookshelf.

“Come on! Iv’e shown you the upper floor of the shop, now lets check out the lower! Its where my potions lab is! Its not very big, but its well ventilated and the air is cool. It reminds me alot of the lab we used in class actually!” She chirps as she offers her hand to her former teacher, brilliant smile showing off the womans youth.

“Ohhh I cant tell you how excited I am to have you see all that i’ve done and accomplished! You know you were always my favorite teacher and potions my favorite class, right?” She hums. Seeing the beauty and grace in potions was something she shared with the man.

“I see! The wind is pretty smart, this is a place of rest, and no need to worry, no invasion I promise. Take a load off, have some food and drink and rest. Im an apothecary and healer so if you need something of that nature, feel free to ask. I know its hard to trust random strangers and you have every right to be weary of me, but Im harmless, for the most part.” She smiles and grabs a small cup, poring the stranger some warm tea, placing the kabob on a warm ovular smooth rock plate.

“My name is Phenexis, It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.” She smiles and offers a hand. Being naked really didn’t seem to bother her at all, like, at. all.
