I have a bias that I fully embrace. Peng is just making everything so complicated and so painful and Wut is the one struggling the most with his choices and I am torn between hoping they solve this quickly and wanting to see some onscreen suffering so they can both show off their acting. But also I love a complex established relationship where you can see the love but also all the issues. (Peng even getting upset at Lava just for finding out and telling him not to hide it from him and basically doubling down on hiding it regardless and not even telling his ex-boyfriend? Absolutely wild.)

Oh, Peng, I love you for all the reasons so many people are gonna hate you. <3 You are so afraid of being seen as less than that you want everything perfect before you reveal anything that might be less that that... and so you keep everything to yourself, secret and safe from judgement, until that supposed time when you're reached the exact spot you believe will be enough for the world to bear your faults... but that simply doesn't exist. Nothing is every perfect! Nothing will ever be enough if you have to chase perfection in order to do it.

Peng is just so dedicated to being the closet until the Perfect Moment that he's gonna ruin every single relationship he has. He lost his last boyfriend, he's snapping at Lava and punishing, he isn't in contact with most of the family, he's losing Dr. Wut... keeping himself in the closet is going to destroy his life.

Seriously, Wut wants to be in a relationship and not just be a secret that Peng keeps until everything is perfect and everyone is ready and nothing can go wrong... but that's not realistic. The world doesn't work that way, time and relationships don't work that way. People don't work that way.

How many people does Peng have to lose before he stops looking for perfect and accept 'now'? When does he realize that his quest for the Right Time is just losing him more and more, well, time. He's missing out on so many things because the moment isn't right and more and more people are going to leave him.
