If this is the kind of thing you are not interested in that’s fine, but what would you say are the major differences between a phonix feather core and a thunderbird feather core?
For the detailed description see here and here.
Both cores are somewhat aloof. But Thunderbird feathers are more stubborn and less versatile. They do make up for this with increased power.
Hi! I really enjoyed reading ur blog. Could u analyse my wand for me? It's Black Walnut Wood, Phoenix feather core, 12 1/2 inch, Unyielding flexibility. Thanks :)
This wand strikes me as being very picky, combining the detached nature of a Phoenix core with the need for total honesty of Black Walnut. Additionally, this wand would constantly test its owner and refuse to work if they fail. All of this is compounded by the flexibility. To my mind this wand best suits a bluntly honest mage.
Hello! Can you please tell me more about my wand? It’s pine wood with a phoenix feather core, 13” rigid flexibility.
Pine like independent, creative, and mysterious masters. This works well with the detachment and versatility inherent in Phoenix feather cores. 13 inches is on the long side, and as such one could expect this mage to have either a fairly flamboyant casting style or an expansive personality. The flexibility would normally indicate that this mage isn’t very, which contrasts the wood and core. A possible reconciliation would be that this mage is very, very, certain of who they are.
Could you analyze my wand. Its Aspen Wood with Phoenix Feather core, 12" 1/2' in length and is reasonably supple. I am a Entj Ravenclaw by the way:)
Aspen is a martial wood that selects strong minded and determined mages. The core suggests some variety which is backed up by the flexibility. Length is very average and is indicative of neither a precise nor dramatic style.
Hello ~ Would you analyse my wand? Elm wood, phoenix feather core, 10 3/4, unyielding flexibility.
Elm prefers masters with gravitas and magical dexterity. Phoenix feather cores are among the most versatile, but tend to be detached, and occasionally will act of their own volition. This versatility is somewhat tempered by the unyielding flexibility, which is normally indicative of a stubborn mage who is very very certain of their mind. The wand is on the short side, and is characteristic of a focused, neat casting style and mind. Overall, this wand suggests a focused mage with a good deal of poise, possibly a tad aloof, and who has a diverse skill set
Hello, I was wondering if you could take a look at my wand. Please and thank you. It is of pine wood with a pheonix feather core at 12 3/4 (inches?) and it is quite bendy.
This wand screams independent and the versatility of the core nicely complements the creativity in the wood. The length suggests some flair is involved in the casting style and the flexibility increases the measure of versatility and creativity indicated by wood and core.
Hello! If it's not to much trouble, could you please analyze my wand? its Laurel wood with a phoenix feather core, 13" and surprisingly swishy flexibility
Laurel wands are intensely honorable and do not work well for lazy mages. The Phoenix feather makes a picky wood somewhat more selective, but the inherent versatility in the core would help the driven mage selected by this wand. The length is indicative of more ostentatious casting style. A “surprisingly swishy” flexibility could indicate a fickle person but in this case I think the mage in question is very adaptable.
