For "Grading the fanfiction trope" thing: Hanahaki - from Pherryt

Ooooh, this is a complicated one. In concept, I absolutely adore it -- angst and pining and death and Aesthetics, it's right up my alley, it's amazing (I'm even down for the genuinely-unrequited version and not just the sad-misunderstanding version, purely because I love angst and that kind of hurt-no-comfort is... more or less exactly what I go for). In execution, most authors don't go as far as I would like, or go for the style I would like, and so I've never actually run into a hanahaki fic that drives me as absolutely crazy as just thinking about the concept does.

(Also the current fandom I'm in makes hanahaki really really hard to justify, but I have run across a fic that does it and does it really really well, which is probably my favorite hanahaki fic I've read just for managing to make it work with robots.)

Somewhere between C++ and B-, for the whole "I like it more in theory than in practice due to how it's generally written, but I'll still read and generally enjoy the actual fic."

Since the last time I posted him, I made him a scar (that was HARD) and I found a sword he could wear! Sadly, I couldn’t change the color, but I ran down to Harv’s Island and attempted a photo shoot. What I’ve discovered is I need to unlock more items, but I still had fun :D
