these colors bother me sometimes man. [Old version]
Haha but lets be honest literally no one can be trusted in LIMBO, Angel is easily the easiest to tell from, but Olly? Dude's an Alter-ego, besides, have you seen how sneaky he is? Like, he has so much knowledge of everything in LIMBO, /everyone/ in LIMBO, but won't tell Erin or Phiaira anything. I mean, why wont he tell them?
Oh and don't get me started on Phiaira, she's in the same boat as Erin, lost her memories and has no idea why she's there (other then she's dead) but unlike Erin, she's competently lost it. She killed someone already dead minutes after Erin wakes up, and because she has nothing to 'lose' (Erin has to keep living until he finds FRIEND) she has no problem doing insane stuff to find her memories.
And oops don't forget Jasmine (tho she comes into the comic v. later in the plot) Yeah she proclaims to be Erin's friend, but how could it possible she has her memories still? Is there something special with her? She still has a parasite so she can become a specter, but how did she even enter LIMBO? and why can't she tell Erin anything about FRIEND or why he's there, or just iF HIS NAME IS ACTUALLY ERIN??
Limbo is full a questionable people. Who Erin chooses to trust can lead to his goal, or his downfall.
The setting in LIMBO is different for everyone, well, for the most of it at least:
Phiaira see's it as if the galaxy and the planets switched spots. Walking on space, while looking at bushes drift in the sky. Of course it's still a forest so she see's tree's and ponds, but all of which has kind of a space-y texture.
Angel sees it more grim and threatening. It's very dark for her and everything feels alive, in the wrong way. This is one of the reasons why she tends to stay with the others in the group. Also why she doesn't move when she's by herself. Of course, there are some lit places. But Angel has learned for experience that those places lead to trouble.
Olly does not see the forest in any special or normal way. He see's it as a blank space with outlines of things that can block his path. It's just really boring. But his helmet allows him to see through the perspective of others. Letting him enjoy the different looks upon LIMBO to 'some extent.' (cannot see Angel's lights, Phiaira's perspective gets to bright for him to see, and Erin's missing chunks are filled with things Olly does not wish to tell)
Erin see's LIMBO like what he remembers of forest from his memory, which isn't a lot. Tree's can faintly be seen and there are missing places where something would be. During LIMBO as Erin searches for Friend, he starts regaining his memories, and those missing places get filled in.
A young girl stands before you as you awoke from a hazy nightmare. It seems like your FRIEND sure is gone, perhaps to this world where you stand, and you have no choice but to find them. You forgot everything about yourself except maybe your name... was it Ian? no? Eric? probably. you don't mind that name at all, you actually kinda like it. But back to this young girl. She seems to be a pastel themed madam who must be insane as she's chosen the best way to introduce herself by casually floating right in front of you and it looks like she most really love stars or sleeping or maybe both a- wait is this girl even human? You can hardly tell if she is.Her face is a pale blue and how her eyes- god her eyes. You might have normally screamed or panicked, but you don't really feel scared, you don't really feel anything anymore. You begin wondering if there is more like her, perhaps, so this concept shouldn't bother you so. You'll let it slide for now and decide to look over to the girl as she seems to welcome you to your new home... Limbo... how familiar...
