okay another phic idea. 5+1 (or whatever number plus one) but it's the progress from fetus dan being embarrassed about waking up in the night with anxiety in front of phil to "make me feel better." the first one is he is like nineteen and wakes up from a nightmare and phil comforts him even though dan is embarrassed. then one of them is dan waking up with anxiety because of the phandom speculation and he fully shuts phil down when he tries to help because phils presence is making it worse. interactive introverts dan waking up and phil comforting him. we're all doomed dan waking up and desperately calling his remote crisis manager even though he's embarrassed. something in the back from the dead era maybe idk. the last out of 5 (or whatever the original number is) is right after hard launch dan going there's a man in the room and going to sleep right after. and the +1 is dan finally being comfortable enough to openly ask for help and reassurance no matter how silly the nightmare: "make me feel better."
My headcanon is that Obsessions can't normally be changed, and a ghost can't be forced to go against its Obsession. But what if Obsessions can be... recontextualized?
Like, I've talked about Danny's Obsession latching onto new people, or his desire to help or make people happy being used to manipulate him, but what if what it meant to help, or be good, or protect was redefined? It couldn't be changed that much, but... What if he was convinced that the only way to be a 'good' ghost was to be completely nonviolent? Or obedient? That fighting, even to defend himself or others, was inherently unhelpful? If it goes against his Obsession, he can't do it.
A slightly less genocidal branch of the GIW wants to try making ghosts 'safe.' After all, they could be pretty useful, right? Assuming they could be tamed and made harmless.
And Phantom? He's a /perfect/ candidate.
Field observations indicate his Obsession is something like 'protection' or 'helping,' and he's already disinclined to attack humans. Trials with nonsapient ghosts have worked out... more or less. They're more than ready to test what they've learned and the tools they've made on Phantom.
danny 6′8 (jack is 7 foot maddie is 6,2 jazz is 6,4)
randy 6 ft
jake long 5′5.5 (human) 6,9 (dragon on 4′s) 10,9 (dragon on 2)
first what they all have in common are scars Danny who has the most while randy has the least ( 3 less than jake)
head cannons i am going with are
|ghosts can use their tails as pillows, hang upside down, and slap people (danny abuses this) |ghost cores (Danny can remove his for a short amount of time) danny has lightning scars, and knows a lot of vegan recipes due to sam danny also has like 5 different suits ghosts core vibrate to make purr like sounds (he does not scince he never really feels safe first time he purrs, he flips the fuck out, the ghosts though it was cuz he is a halfa and they never heard vlad because he know how to not) ghosts have better senses than the living you wake him you will be yeeted, suplexed, punched or kicked. if you physically touch him while sleeping. unless he is very familier wiht you ie: he falls asleep on you with no problems, he is able to tell who it is and is acts and is aware of his surrounding while sleeping (don’t use the micro wave unless you want to find ,or want to find him in the kitchen or he’ll spook you) Danny sleeps in weird as places. hiar is fluff really bad morning breath
jake long- by only reading fanfiction and never seen cannon do idk his hair likes to stay in one place (can use the same gell for 3 days if no shower) really bad morning breath
randy- after defeating the scorcer 2 times (past and present) he merges with the pearals and tengu (thus the pear and feather near the end of his mask) hair is fluff
now notable things other than above
now danny’s changes- sam and tuck are dead from ghosts, jazz is off to college, jack and maddie disown him and died later from a lab accident (not for the ghost thing they still do not know, and they were abusive toward Danny mostly emotionally, and neglect) Danny has gotten dissected when caught by parents (classic i know but they did not get to look long but the damage is till there) he lives with his aunt out of hate of vlad (and made it quite clear acting violent and almost pulling his stitches in the action) due to this he is like a mama bear that hates biology class( plus like a few attacks from it) on top of this shadow of what ghosts used to be (failed obsessions but did not fade) yervines and had to fight in a lot saw more fades than he can count in those short weeks. He has nightmares (terrors) to a point his aunt was asking him to go to therapy. On that note due to his aunt’s trouble with men he chases them off with a baseball bat if they start annoying his aunt while helping with as much as he can (turns out he is batter at house chores than her and does them out of habit) whenever she yells he recoils and makes himself seem small, any one who is an adult or has come to know (from the very small and limited physical abuse) can sleep anywhere almost anytime almost any position is very flexible. not only can he supress his signature while human but ghost to (he is really like 9.2 but makes it feel like he is 2.3 (very weak) and if wants to sneak tis 0) danny faded the ghost that got sam and tucker. does not use full power (around even) when fighting enemies so he won’t fade them. once at agatha’s is was apparent he was very smart (due to being a safe environment compared to the rest of his life) he adopted flannels due to his aunt alicia. can not history for his life, and people do not apprach him due to the energy he naturally makes (that randy and jake are immune are used to) He keeps up with his training in order to protect the ones he cares about. no ever sees him with out a long sleeve flannel or pants. he is really good with make up to hide scars and bruises
summary of skills
- can use makeup to hide (it is movie close up sfx hollywood cgi (but is not quality) bruises and scars -is aware of surroundings in sleep and will deck you if touched --is very protective and flexible (2) (with out powers) #1 puppy eyes
randy has had Howard in a serious accident where he almost died and lost a portion of his leg some have died from the stank while randy has tried to save them and the stanked monsters cause less casualties than the robots but they hurt randy more. also randy’s suit is just protection agenst magic and elements. he is a bendy noodle to the point of contorting in battle. He also has hyper mobility syndrome and flaunts it (with out realizing) he thinks it is normal till danny flips out on it
-flexible with hyper mobility - tengu and chaos pearl suppression and control (he can let out the tengu as a birb) -
jake- does not have to change any parts to used enhanced senses but as a dragon they are stronger, he can identafy many plants and can make potions due to his traning with Lao shi and fu dog. rose dies when she takes down the hunts clan(this is after the dark dragon and her parents were part of the hunts clan, she did not like her parents, i switched the events) Trixie and spud are alive with a few scars. they are not active in combat but support and sneak you bet. Is the only one that is good with history together they can actually pass the damn class
A small town on the coast of France has been buzzing with talk of a mysterious masked Sorcerer that dwells in an unknown location somewhere within the depths of one of the various dark caves along the rocky shore. Christine Daaé, left orphaned and impoverished, loves hopelessly from afar her childhood friend; the famous and wealthy, Prince Raoul de Chagny. Doubting that he would ever remember those evenings playing together on the sandy shores and his heroic rescuing of her beloved red scarf, Christine believes she would never have a chance with someone of such an elite status. Christine catches wind of the tales of the powerful Sorcerer who grants wishes to those who attempt to seek him out, but only those which he deems worthy. Desperate for a chance to earn The Prince’s love, Christine treks to the Sorcerer’s rumored dwelling place.
Christine owns very little, and certainly nothing that anyone would deem impressive. As a result, she meekly strives to earn the Sorcerer’s attention the only way she knows how: through song. Upon reaching the Sorcerer’s supposed abode, Christine sings with all of the passion that she has left, going through multiple arias that her father had taught her before his passing. She uses her voice to portray her desperation, the love which she fears can never be returned. Christine is met with nothing other than the sound of waves crashing in the distance and, thinking herself foolish, turns to leave. She stops short, however, when she hears a soft, nearly hypnotic voice singing beautifully in a tongue she does not recognize. She peers into the darkness of the cave, searching for the owner of the entrancing voice and finds two eerily bright yellow eyes peering back at her.
Her first instinct is to be frightened, but the melodic voice washes over her and she finds that she is rather tranquil. The voice urges her closer and she obeys, seemingly in a daze. “Why do you seek my guidance, child?” The words are uttered softly from the darkness. Christine explains her hopeless love to the shadow with the unsettling, glowing eyes. Christine pours her heart out to this unknown creature, unaware of the scheming taking place within the mind of the Sorcerer. The Sorcerer listens to her explain her desires, listens to her pleas and vows that she will do anything that she is able. The shadow ponders the wild-haired girl’s words for a moment, and Christine waits with baited breath, expecting him to turn her away. “I will help you gain this boy’s love, little one. But as you know, I shall expect something in return.”, the voice murmurs and Christine’s heart leaps. “Anything, Monsieur…”, Christine says in disbelief. “I shall ask for a very minuscule form of payment. I ask for nothing other than your voice. Your voice, to be mine and mine alone; to coax, to tutor, to possess. None other than I shall ever receive the gift of hearing it.”
Christine would then agree, although with a strong feeling of ill-omen. Christine would be mute around everyone other than Erik. Erik would keep his word and help Christine earn the love of the Prince de Chagny. Things get increasingly complicated, however, when Erik becomes enchanted by the beautiful song-bird and realizes he wants more than just her voice as his own. A sort of love-triangle ensues, Erik deals with questions of morality, there is a lot of pining, unrequited feelings all around, angst, etc etc. The endgame would be definitely E/C. And yes, Erik would be a real Sorcerer. Because why the heck not? And yes, this is largely inspired by me listening to @lordjazor ’s audio of Erik singing “Poor Unfortunate Souls” because I’m lame like that
