so, writing prompt/world building exercise for ya boy; yk how theres a lot of religious art, writing, plays, etc?

imagine if thats just how divine beings communicate with humans? or at least make humans aware they exist. imagine the reason the tortured artist thing even EXISTS is because some divine being just got bored and wanted to watch their favorite little hairless biped create stuff while the poor soul is just suffering.

imagine if thats why humans get insatiable urges to create, if thats why humans spent their whole existence as a species telling stories, painting on whatever surface they can find, making plays and building temples, cathedrals, places of worship not because the divine needed power, but because they find it absolutely adorable when humans make things or find it interesting that something so much more small and insignificant comapred to them also create, just like how the divine do.

ok ima stop it here before i start to spiral more into thought. i ain't gonna pull a Socrates on y'all.
