You ever start on a piece, quit, come back to it months later to finish, and feel that sweet, sweet satisfaction of “it was worth holding onto that wip forever”? I’m riding that high right now.

The guy on the left is @commodoresam’s oc Philippe. We initially bonded over both having characters named Philippe, so we tend to refer to theirs by his last name “Olivier”. The girl is Mitty from Le Ballet Magnifique, but in a modern era (obviously). I made her a long time ago, but haven’t drawn her much! I’m excited for this to be her big debut.

i draw during class a lot so i figured i'd upload a few of these here. exploring oberon's costume (heavily inspired by le ballet russe/Léon Bakst, of course), some public attire, and finally drawing philippe and jack together for the first time.

Liam is not shy about telling his friends he loves them, but sometimes he’s just overcome by it.

Philippe needs reading glasses. he's VERY sensitive about his age, though, so he goes to great lengths to make sure nobody ever sees them. Liam is one of the rare exceptions.

@commodoresam and I discovered we both had ocs named Philippe, so of course we told each other everything about them and realized they would get along all too well and become the rowdiest duo on the streets
