Among the caftans, shalvar, and sashes, the turban stands out in particular. Moreover, the way it is wrapped immediately indicates the wearer's position or rank. For instance, the headdresses of high-ranking dignitaries are usually tall, varied in shape, and often adorned with jewelry pieces.

Idk who in the fandom is gonna latch on to this, but since Pokemon Wind/Waves presumably takes place in pseudo South East Asia (Philippines, Indonesia, etc.) my prediction for Browt’s evolution is that it’ll be based on the nation bird of the Philippines, aka the Philippine Eagle.

Look at its eyebrows!

It’s a critically endangered bird and I hope this at least brings it some attention :)

His hatching on January 15, 1992 was a culmination of over a decade of research by the Philippine Eagle Foundation. He was named the Tagalog word for “hope” as a symbol for the survival of his critically endangered species.
