Chinatown Side Trip

Kung Het Fat Choi! ‘Or if you’re Mandarin, Gong Xi Fa Cai. ‘Or simply, Happy Chinese New Year if you’re into the hype. Well, I know it’s been weeks so sorry for the late greetings. But still, I’m wishing us all a happy and prosperous year of the monkey.

It was a perfect timing as I needed to go to Divisoria to buy supplies for my shop, and Binondo was just around the corner. My Mom accompanied me to this Manila trip as she wanted to go to Quiapo Church as well. Unfortunately, it was raining hard that day that’s why I was not able to snap some photos.

But don’t worry, this Chinese New Year post will not be boring as I have photos to show from my backlogs (LOL). ‘Shame on me! Images on this blog post were from last year when my brother went with me to Hidalgo, Quiapo to get the free monopod from my DSLR purchase. We decided to have a Binondo side trip as we haven’t been there, actually.

Someday, I’ll create a more comprehensive Manila Chinatown blog post. I’m excited to try as well different authentic Chinese restaurants around the place as Chinese cuisine is one of my favorites.
