Funny story! In what was a brief bit of site downtime I thought the site was as dead as us! Then when I told Phil that the final recorded Philoceraptor song was done, he asked if I had posted it to the Tumblr soooo.... HELLO!!! 

"Do Whatchu Want" was conceived of a band of three unknowing terminal patients and the arresting rhythm of a maraca only 3 takes before this recording was made as a reference to revisit. Then Philoceraptor was dead.

THE PR PRESS SONG PREMIERE: GUN CONTROL - "BARGAIN"

"Bargain" is a decidedly lo-fi gem, written for Mann's girlfriend "after she correctly observed that none of the songs he [Mann] had previously wrote were about her." Clocking in at just over 3 minutes long, the song has some catchy guitar lines–and we love the DIY noise pop aspect of it. "Bargain" is available through a 'pay what you want' system below.

Gun Control consists of Mann on vocals and guitar, and Penney on drums. They played their first show last month, as part of the annual Music Waste Festival, and have since been on the bill with the likes of NEEDS, Hot Panda and Altered By Mom.
