Setting: Modern AU, High School

*8:25 am at the end of the hallway*

Phinks: *dancing to some song playing in his headset*

Feitan: *behind Phinks* you got better at dancing .

Phinks: *faces Feitan* Really?

Feitan: Yeah, you used to dance like a zombie. Now you look like you're waiting for the next available washroom.

Phinks: *Throws his phone and headset to Feitan* You could've stopped at the first part!

Could I have Phinks headcanons about his flirting style please? Is he good or awkward? Can you tell he's flirting? Etc - V

•He thinks flirting comes easy to him and that he’s a natural but really he’s not. There are occasions when his flirting does pay off but that’s about a 50/50 shot. His style of flirting is aggressive and forward rather than suave, especially if he thinks they aren’t responding well. When that happens he’s not the type to give up without trying, so he’ll prolong his efforts until he just ends up making the situation worse for himself. You know Phinks is a dork

•BUT that’s not to say he can’t be smooth at times. He can be quite charming if he tries. That whole bad boy appeal works out in some cases, at least if he doesn’t over do it. Like imagine Phinks leaning in real close and flirting with you in that deep, inciting voice. Like damn son. It really does depend on how he starts off. If he’s too forward then it could be an immediate turn off, but if he eases his way into it then it may be a favorable outcome

•It’s fairly obvious when he’s flirting. Especially during those times that it’s a futile effort, then it’s painfully obvious. However, there are times Phinks may think he isn’t trying hard enough, and he’ll amp up the flirtation to get his point across. Whether it works or makes it a little unbearable really depends

•Phinks is an impatient guy, so if he can’t reel them in relatively quickly he gets irritated. Like I said, Phinks thinks he’s a real charmer 100% of the time, and he has a difficult time hiding that irritation, which is when he can come off too strong and aggressive
