Phlebotomy update 👀

Ive learned to draw the "normal" way like with tubes and such. Ive also just learned how to draw blood cultures which are with syringes and a blood transfer device and its shockingly just as easy. I really like this class, could do without my arm being used as a test dummy but whatever lol Also so far really good at avoiding the dude who makes all of his partners bleed everywhere, I give props to him not dropping but good lord dude please, you need to have some confidence in this. Being nervous is not helpful and makes you mess up more. 😭

Last night was the first night of the phlebotomy technician course! My friend Norma and I (who both took the CNA! course together) were the first ones to show up. We were so worried that our class wasn't going to make. But slowly more and more ladies showed up. We had a total of 5, one lady who showed up wasn't 100% sure if she'd take the class and my friend Meesha said she'd join the class as well.

I've been looking forward to this class for a very long time; since High School to be exact! I am looking forward to learning about blood, drawing vial and testing bodily fluids. The human body and medicine is something that has always interested me.

I'm looking forward to this semester!!
