Henceforth I wish to be known as the “Goth Eridian Guy” thank you very much. (Gotham was named for the batwing-like appearance of their limbs and their pitch-black coloration. Like chipped away obsidian.)
When they first met, Rocky was insulted a veterinarian answered because Grace is not a pet, but technically a vet is already experienced with different species so they were their best bet at someone that could learn fast on how to improvise care for a life form they were unfamiliar with, medically. Grace thought they looked cool and would have named them Batman if it weren’t for the fact he was trying to stop gendering the Eridians against their will.
