From my completely subjective and unprofessional stance
I have a criticism with the series that I hope part 2 fixes

I feel that admo has a worldbuilding problem.
Not that it lacks lore or details, but rather it feels like nothing connects as much as it should. And nothing has any real lasting consequences. Admo's world has alot of potential! But it's just not used to its fullest.
For example:
Episode 3; Metagnostic, where the Foundation made Prometheus the newest and biggest religion. And also gave religious groups across the world brain diseases. (Or maybe fixing the Noosphere undid the brain diseases. Idk) I understand why this isn't shown again cuz I imagine it's only really something a civilian would see in their day-to-day. But it would still be interesting if we could ever possibly see this brought up again.
On more urgent examples:
The whole rogue AI disaster in Eighth Commandment. Deviant AIs hijacking technological systems across the world and setting off disasters. And attempting to start a nuclear war. That should definitely have some lasting impact, in just some way at all. But then the Foundation just handles it completely fine and gives out a fake miracle cure and perfect cover story. It connects to Existential Abatement in it important way, but I'll get to it in a moment.
Blackbox explicitly mentions and shows a communication issue the Foundation is having cuz of an anomaly. But it really only matters in that intermission episode. I can count on half of one hand how many times it's brought up afterwards. I don't think it's even resolved.
And then there's Existential Abatement, by far probably the best episode in the series! And it's the worst about this. Every single AcroAbate facility in the world simultaneously experiences an esoteric materials breach. The entire AcroAbate infrastructure is completely upheaved. And now that I'm ranting about it, that part ig does get resolved. Cuz the Foundation has to reverse engineer and rebuild the global AcroAbate system. But there should still be massive ecological, societal, and environmental damage cuz of this! Anomalous waste is some extremely volatile stuff and is far more destructive and unpredictable than just regular pollution.
Not to mention, JAPAN IS FUCKING GONE!
A whole nation has been wiped off the map. If that doesn't end the Veil, idk what will.
This is not a rant out of hatred for the series. I LOVE ADMONITION! It's what eventually led me to OG43. But this is just my own gripe with it that I've noticed.
Take my opinions with a grain of salt. I may have reread the series a dozen times, but I don't keep any extensive notes on it. It's all just in my head. So the details are ofc fuzzy.

I love this series. I'm so excited for when *taps the hidden microphone in my ear* Oh. Ohh. I have just been informed that there will be no part 2, but instead a sequel. Well. I'm so excited for when the sequel eventually drops. I love this story, and I want it to be the best it can be
