The Phoenicia, built in 2007–2008, is a modern replica of a 600 BC Phoenician merchant ship.

Inspired by ancient shipwreck discoveries near Marseille, the vessel was constructed using traditional methods to recreate the maritime achievements of the Phoenicians—master seafarers who once transported gold from Africa, tin from Britain, and linen from Egypt across the ancient world.

The Carpentras Stele, the first ancient inscription ever identified as "Aramaic", 4th century BCE.

The Carpentras Stele is an Egyptian-style funerary monument inscribed in Aramaic and now preserved in the Bibliothèque Inguimbertine in Carpentras, France. It commemorates a woman named Taba, depicting her before the underworld god Osiris and later as a deceased person being prepared for burial. The inscription follows Egyptian funerary traditions, praising her virtuous life and wishing her well in the afterlife.

The stele is historically significant as the first Northwest Semitic inscription ever published in modern times and the first Aramaic text to be published, although it was initially mistaken for Phoenician. Discovered in the 18th century, it sparked a long scholarly debate over its language and literary form. By the early 19th century, scholars had conclusively identified the inscription as Aramaic, with some of its vocabulary showing parallels to the Aramaic found in the biblical Books of Daniel and Ruth. Today it is catalogued as KAI 269, CIS II 141, and TAD C20.5.

Daemon’s code manipulation and wish fulfillment will be a theme in later posts. I’m actually obsessed with Reggie and her ogm okay THOUGHTS: Reggie is so so confused trying to comprehend this out-of-bounds singularity but even more so, is violently into it. Does this make sense? It’s not everyday Reggie comes across something that can fuel him without that thing being hate. Whatever it is, actually transcends it and makes his head burn trying to put a finger on how it makes him feel.

Powerless, maybe! And nobody, including Reggie, likes to be the one who’s not in control.

Then again. Hard to make out if this is really the case through all the noise and static. Making the most out of unsavory situations is Rejection’s specialty. Does he like. not knowing what The hell Is Happening? WHOOOOO KNOWS! Daemon is one hell of a concept, haha
