🌊🐺 I wanted to design Odysseus and Poseidon inspired by the story descriptions, for my readers as a visual treat.
The trident swung down. Poseidon’s judgement soon fell. “Choose, Odysseus of Ithaca.” “Choose…?” Odysseus repeated, playing dumb, buying himself a little more time. His grip on Penelope's hand tightened. “Before you lay two roads. Choose to come with me, and I will take you to Mount Olympus. Or you can choose to throw all that away and enjoy mediocrity. Before you, I will sink this island and all that inhabit it. Then you will be the king of nothing.”
