Disposables

It was my best friend's 21st this valentines day and last night we went out in Covent garden. A present that she got was a couple of disposable cameras and a photo frame to fill with the pictures we took. It was actually so refreshing taking photographs and not being able to see them straight away. It made me think that we used to have to be so much better at taking pictures. Yes, we probably get a lot more practise now but before there were no second chances so you had to nail the shot there and then. If it developed and you looked bad there was nothing you could do about it. Does that mean that we used to be more satisfied with how we looked in photographs and we have just become more picky…..because we can be? We got a lot of comments on our 'cool' cameras and it was pretty fun. Would definitely recommend it for a special night out. You can take pictures and remember the night but you don't worry so much about what you look like and the perfect picture that has to be taken. Or mirror selfless in the toilet. At least then you spend more time on the dance floor or at the bar than you do in front of a mirror.
