2. Union Pacific No. 2225, 1998 © The slide was converted to an enlarged negative and gum printed-this example is a one-coat print using a lamp black pigment.
3. Union Pacific No. 2225, 1998 © For this example, a higher gum ratio was used to deliberately produce flaking during development creating mood. The print was then watercolored while still damp.
4. Union Pacific No. 2225 Mosaic, 1999 © In this surreal version, several gum prints were made using blues, browns and blacks, cut into pieces and assembled. Gouache was added as the final touch.
