What essential elements does photography need?

If you’re new to photography, grasping concepts can seem intimidating. But, once you have the fundamentals, you will be able to advance your photography. Below is a brief overview of the photography-related concepts you should know.

The distinction between flat and vertical lines is the most important concept. Vertical lines are placed in opposition to the ground, whereas flat lines are aligned with it. Pay attention to where the lines are placed in the casing when constructing a shot. Vertical lines can offer a sense of display, whilst level lines can add a sense of strength.

Investigate multiple perspectives on various issues to understand their meaning in your work. while you’re out shooting, keep these things in mind. Give yourself a moment to consider the work and the light when outlining a grave. With only a little practice, you’ll be able to take stunning pictures that you like.

Learning to "See"-- Lines

#photography- One of the basic traits good photographers share is an ability to see images that many people don't notice.  I believe you can develop an "eye", but I think the OMG-FANTASTIC photographers are born with some added ability. However that said  all of us have to develop our skills and master the basics.   Until we do this we won't know if we could be a good photographer or one of those OMG FANTASTIC ones. So let's talk begin with the elements - specifically lines.    

The first element I'm going to talk about in Basic 101 is lines.   When my art teacher told us to:

1. Just shoot in black and white, (back in the days of shooting with film)

2. Go find and shoot anything depicting lines

I thought he was insane and had no clue what he was talking about.  Of course I was the one being clueless.   What I didn't understand was that he was teaching us to see the basic elements in photography.  Lines can draw the viewer into the photograph and they can help give eyes a focal point.   So set your camera on B/W and go shoot "lines"  and please share!
