Ha. I was thinking of titling this post 'A Couple of Gorgeous Pictures and A Bunch of Excuses'. Put it this way: I'm getting married in less than 3 weeks and the details are, starting to get pretty, um, detailed. No surprise, planning a wedding can be stressful. And that stress has slowed the Shoeseum post rate up quite a bit (6 a-day, to 3, to 1, to...). But, more than stress (and missed Tumblr appointments), some really awesome experiences have been a part of the process as well.
So, to show rather than tell: These pictures (and about 200 others-whoa) were taken on the day after Christmas on several of the MTA's vintage subway cars at an engagement photo session put together by the very good people at Photomuse with tres capable styling assistance from Merci New York. As you can see, everyone involved in the day was absolutely crushing it (thanks Kristin, Steven and Jackie for your insane skillz and @littleladyeasy for your natural good looks!!). The whole experience was ridiculously fun, surreal and (somehow) exhausting, but 100% worth it!! I would recommend it (and the fine people mentioned above) to anyone-even if it does slow your blog roll a little bit.
