Hi hello I saw you having a little breakdown over the silt verses chapter 40 <3 and just making sure you know that there is infact more coming.

Season 3 is still on going, currently releasing episodes on a 3 three week basis. I am pretty sure we still have 4 episodes left til the end of the series, the next episode probably coming on 20th of may (tho don’t qoute me on that date fully.)

The thing that blows my mind about it, right

Is that it's PERFORMANCE ART

Like, someone CRAFTED every bit of it, from the fic to the overarching story to all the blog posts to the blog COMMENTS etc etc etc

So that's just insane, on a meta level

And THEN you've got the story (within the story within the story and so on) which is just...

The layers of lies and untrustworthy narration, the parasocial relationships, the way it ends and you're left still not really knowing what happened or who to trust (and in that way, it feels so real to the experience of being on the Internet...)

It's almost...too real? And too contrived? I find myself focusing on the masterpiece that is the writer's work of it all because the story itself is so convoluted and simple, so impossible and basic, so "exactly what you'd expect" and "what the HELL," so obviously contrived and so easy to imagine being real.

Idk if any of that makes sense but my emotions after reading through it (in basically one sitting) were ones of profound and indescribable hollowness in the place where my soul should be

Black tea: where are you from?

oof, complicated answer, askjfdaj

broadly speaking, the USA. the answer to this is different based on if it's "where were you born" vs. "where did you grow up" vs. "where did you spend most of your life" vs. where do you live now" vs. "where is your family/home base."

I usually go with "what influenced you/what do you think of as "home", and the answer to that is Minnesota, sure. But I spent a good amount of time on the West Coast and that's where I currently live!

Earl Grey: Depends, but typically I take my tea with cream, no sugar. If it's an oolong/puer/white tea I typically drink that straight! I'm a bit obsessive about tea

Rooibos: three facts about my family, erm...

my grandfather, who we jokingly call the Source of our family's Autism, was a nuclear scientist before he decided to retire and go back to school to become a lawyer

my da is one of the only uilleann pipers in [state redacted]

my last name means something along the lines of "the shield arm of Tyr" according to some sources, but I'm pretty sure it just means "farmer from Sweden"

Irish Breakfast: I want to visit SO many places, but if I'd have to choose one country, probably Turkey? Istanbul specifically. good food, amazing culture, cats

Teacup: last tea party was, hmm... probably a couple months ago when some friends came down to visit! I don't see a lot of people in person, unfortunately, so the tea parties have been lacking :(

I had great ambitions to make cookies and things today but my husband just turned off the lights and now I am going to fall asleep on the couch in a COVID Christmas induced haze
