New Home Owner

New balance: 13,500G New place:  House #9824 on Emery Street in Leuda

Emily could hardly believe it. After all these years of living in her dingy little apartment in the Mire building, she was finally a home owner!

Looking down at the set of keys in her hands, she felt warm tears welling up in her eyes. Things have been going in a positive direction these days, and this felt like such a huge step toward her future. 

What will Haley say, when she comes to visit? 

She couldn’t help but wonder about her sister. She hoped Haley would be as happy about this as she was, whenever she finally returned home - which Emily was confident would happen one of these days. She would have to send her sister a text and let her know the good news.

And a few of her friends, too. Maybe she could bribe them with pizza to come help her with the moving. After all, she had been in the same apartment for a while, so moving everything over was likely to be a big job, if she were to do it by herself. 

Either way, she could worry about everything else later. For now, she could just be happy that she was finally moving on up in the world. 

Mom, Dad.... I hope you’re proud of me.... <3
