Fireworks with Friends || Tina & Danny

The fireworks festival in Leuda was finally here! Tina had seen lots of fireworks, she’d set them off with her family too, but nothing beat Leuda fireworks.

The fireworks are set off at the coast because everyone knows fireworks are stunning reflecting against the water. The boardwalk would be crowded and it would be hard to see the fireworks reflections. Tina wanted the full experience. What better place to view fireworks than in a private area? What better place to view fireworks than on a boat, surrounded by the reflections? And who did Tina know that had a private boat????

Dannyyyyyy!!!!

Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a phone so she couldn’t just call him to ask. And running around the island looking for him would be exhausting. So Tina went over to where his boat was. After concluding that he wasn’t there, she sat down and waited for him to return.

Mystery Box

⇢There were whispers of a secret hideout for pirates somewhere in Pelago. At a bar one night, Andrea heard a patron speak of a mysterious box on the rooftop of Mire Apartments through a drunken slur. She had no reason to believe this and certainly no reason to connect these two rumors but Goddess was she bored. 

That night, after she arrived at her apartment, Andrea thought about what she heard at the bar. What was so interesting about a damn box? Still, she couldn’t get it out of her mind. She had to know. Her desire for a break from the monotony drove her up the stairs to the top of the apartment building. 

At first, when she looked around, Andrea didn’t see anything and felt silly for searching. Just as she was about to return to her room, she spotted something in the corner of her eye. A small wooden box. The sound of a door opening stopped her right before she opened the box. If only she had a cigarette, she could pretend she was just smoking. Instead she stood in front of the box and faced whoever just came through the door.

Domestic || Sierra & Danny

Home had been a weird thing for Sierra lately, from living in the woods to living with Karen now living with her brother. Now that she had an *actual home* though, she still wasn’t used to sleeping and well, existing, in the same place all the time.

It was morning and Sierra had broken into Danny’s boat. House. House boat. Whatever. She hadn’t felt like breakfast with Bismark like every other day of the week, so she swung by her friend’s place.

Danny hadn’t been awake when she arrived so she did the kind thing and let him sleep while she made breakfast. She had to be pretty quiet because it wasn’t there wasn’t a sleeping man right by her. She opted to pop in her airpods and jam quietly while she worked.

Luckily, he wasn’t low on groceries so she didn’t have to work with many constraints. Just simple eggs and bacon. And of course, tiktok coffee. Which, thank goodness Danny happened to have instant coffee, none of that fancy shit. Exactly what she needed.

Rematch || Jake & Danny

[ ⚔ ] — Jake watches as a multitude of shipwrights work on his boat, the half-elf having brought it in to Dry Docks to get its routine set of repairs. Working at the arena and being a guild member, he found himself out on the seas pretty often, and the monsters on the ocean would occasionally attack his ship. As a result, it would sustain a few light damages, but not enough to stop it from functioning entirely.

He sits and waits for the work to be done, checking his phone to see a text from Meg, asking him to fetch a few groceries on the way home. After sending back his response (which was yes, always yes), he glances up to see a familiar face sitting not too far from him. That sandy-haired guy he and Neil fought at the arena once. 

“Oh, it’s you.” He says flatly, “Guessin’ you came to get some ship work done, too.”

Familiarly Unfamiliar || Danny & Rylan

It was nice to see that even after his long absence (or death, as some would put it), things in the Wall Market appeared to be moving along quite smoothly. Part of him was afraid of the place being torn apart brick by brick by some overzealous police officer by now, though it appeared that everyone still remaining were committed to keeping the pawn shop’s secret, even with him and his former crew not at the helm.

And one of the constants between then and now were several employees, Danny being one of them.

Part of Rylan wondered if he could manage to sneak a steal from his now co-worker to make up for the time Danny stole from him all those months ago. At the very least, Rylan could have something from his previous little romp in this region. Though, this was not the time or place.

He would simply have to figure that out on his own time.

“Quite a slow day, is it not?” Rylan spoke, his chin resting in his hand as he leaned on the front counter, looking up at Danny, “I doubt there’s even a point keeping two of us here, don’t you agree?”

Bump In The Night || Jamie & Danny

@dannysdinghy Jamie sighed, making his way close to the docks of the port. It was quite a long walk- considering his apartments were quite literally on the other side of the island.  He liked to just sit there sometimes. The sounds of the waves was peaceful, and he enjoyed just looking out at the sea. Even if it was night, and raining at that. In fact, that made it all the better. He had an oversized hoodie on in case he needed to put his hood back up if the rain got worse. It seemed to have lessened a bit to a drizzle, although  Less people around.  As he walked though, he turned a corner and bumped into someone, falling flat on his ass.  “Tch! watch where you’re going!” He growled, standing back up and wiping his pants off and then looked up at then looked up at the person he had bumped into, eyes widening with a slightly surprised look on his face. 

Sheesh! He’s tall! He thought to himself, before frowning and crossing his arms, giving him a disgruntled look.
