To The One I Don’t Remember || Raguna & Ivan

[✿] — He didn’t know why he felt the need to do this. As far as Raguna was concerned, Ivan was just a co-worker of his who felt strangely familiar, but shouldn’t have been much more than that. Sure, they were friendly... but there was this sense of distance between them. A disconnect. As if their relationship had been fractured somehow, even though the farmer wasn’t sure they had much of one to begin with.

And yet, in spite of that thinking, he felt a strange stirring in his chest whenever he saw Ivan. Or, more specifically, the intense emotion he would catch in the other man’s eyes, whenever their gazes met. Emotion put there because of Raguna, for some indiscernible reason.

At least with Micah, he was a roommate that Raguna regularly spent time around, and so he had ample chances to bond with him. So why not go the extra mile, and give him a gift? Ella was another employee of his, but their relationship didn’t go too far beyond friendly co-workers. Ivan should have been the same, and yet...

Hm.

Well, there was nothing he could do about it now. The gift was already sent, and he could only hope that the other man wouldn’t feel too weirded out by it.

Sent to Ivan’s residence is a small parcel containing a vial of potion, along with a note.

Hey, Ivan!

This... might be weird, since we don’t know each other too well? So you’re probably thinking ‘wow, why is my boss giving me ANOTHER gift?’ And the truth, honestly? Is that I don’t know.

What I do know is that... you’ve helped me a lot this year. You’re a good guy. And... you seem kinda sad, sometimes. I’m sorry if that’s rude of me to say-- er, write, but, uh. Yeah. I don’t know. This potion I sent you apparently grants the person who drinks it good fortunes, so I hope it works for you! And I hope your next year here is a lot better than the last.

◤ He’s basically floating down the street, for the most part. Drifting, or maybe just taking really long steps to propel himself down the street. He won’t lie and say he’s inconspicuous... He’s going to catch a few eyes if he starts being a magical idiot like he is, but that’s fine. For today. ◢

◤ “’Scuse me,” he says, pulling himself around someone else. His own little gravitational field might make their hair float away, and he winces. “Didn’t wanna run into you.” ◢

•｡ ❀ 𝒲ithin a small meadow, Iris Noire stood in the center of the pasture - basking in her solitude as she listened to the breeze rustle the grass and ocean rush in the distance. In the moonlight cast down on her slender figure, the vampire clasped her hands together and gently kissed her knuckles - whispering the first word to the hymn that she started to gradually sing aloud. “Toue rei zue kuroa ryuo toue zue. ♫” She continued through the verse, opening her eyes to the unexpected yet lovely surprise of a plethora of fireflies congregating around her in lieu of the spirits - to which her heart soared with happiness as the precious little insects came out to dance alongside her. Iris was pleased that she garnered a willing audience, for Gelwein never liked it when she sang during the nighttime at the apartment - a nuisance or something of the sort.

𝒯hen, amongst the fireflies flittering, a shadow lingered at the edge of the meadow that captivated her attention.

“𝓗ello?” Iris called out. “Who goes there?”

New Island: Point Lookout

In the center of the sea sits an island too small to be drawn on a map. It is a lighthouse sitting on a cluster of rocks that appear to have been put there by man. There is no dock, and there is a small clearing that a boat can get close enough without hitting ground underneath. 

It seems to be an old abandoned lighthouse, with the outside in dire need of a paint-job and a light that has needed to be replaced for years. However, there are things that seem to be sinister about this island. Whispers in the dark, furniture overturned, closets clawed open with its contents spread across the ground.

If you were to explore Point Lookout, you’d hear noises coming from underneath a box. Move it to find a secret trap door that leads to an old abandoned prison filled with monsters, winding pathways, and the dead. In this labyrinth of prison doors and stairways that seem to descend deeper and deeper. 

Along the way you’ll hear voices, see diary entries scattered and marred to illegibility with time, and battle monsters that seem to appear out of nowhere. Some prison cells may shut on their own just to get a scare out of a trespasser. At the end of the labyrinth, locked behind the bars of a prison cell is a chest containing a mysterious treasure...

Inside lies a stone that amps up the powers of a magic user when carried by them. Alongside the stone are various other stones, such as four love crystals (2,500G each) and an emerald (1,800G). Anyone with magic ability can tell that the magic stone is worth far more than the rest. How will you divide this up between the group?

As Marla’s said her goodbyes to Leon and walked off the dance floor she couldn’t help but notice a man’s back as he walked away from the party, it looked familiar. Curving her walking path to try and see his face, she felt like a shark stalking its prey as she tried to recognize him. The path got darker as it lead away from the festival, but thankfully her eyes adjusted quickly and she got a good glance the man’s facial features. 

Excitement taking over her actions she snuck up behind Ivan and leaped on his back, hugging him tightly with her legs and arms wrapped around him. “Ivan! Look Ivan I have legs!!”
