#pianist problems

Pianist problems: when you see a piano in public and you go "I MUST PLAY" and then remember that you have nothing to play, because you started working on new repertoire just a weeks ago and you are no longer able to play by memory the pieces you mastered 2 months ago

SO I WAS RANDOMLY PLAYING THE PIANO (as usual lol, I am a pianist just btw) AND I STARTED PLAYING WHAT SOUNDED LIKE ARCADIA SO I WAS PLAYING IT AND THEN IT GOT REALLY SAD AND I REALIZED I SWITCHED FROM MAJOR TO MINOR AND NOW IM CRYING BECAUSE I PLAYED THE WHOLE THING IN MINOR AND IT IS SO SAD BYE

my thoughts go out to every pianist playing with violinists for the first time

(and yes this is about the aggressive sniffing)

Pianist Obligations

As a pianist, you are obligated to produce the "happy birthday" tune at every birthday party you are invited to, in every single key, as requested by the audience. 

You will also feel the need to have the version you play be as sophisticated as possible, in order to prove you are not a noob.  Lastly, do remember that everyone will receive this piano service except you, at your own birthday celebration.

I don’t think I will ever get over the fact that I have small hands and stubby fingers that can *just* reach an octave on the piano. And I will be forever jealous of people with those long spidery fingers that can casually play an octave with their thumb and ring finger.

sorry but........ am i the only person that sweats severely after playing through their technique/scales for the day???
