Composing

I've been waiting a long time to blog about this subject. It's something that I'm very passionate about and I don't speak about it often.  For about 10 years I've been teaching myself piano. All the years of practice was worth it and for longest time I've never really composed a real song before. That all changed when one of my best friends Rachel Oxley were talking on the phone one night. She told me that Tom (her soon to be husband who recently proposed) was "The one" and she told me that she wanted me to compose a song that she comes down the asile to. 

I thought she was joking with me but she was actually serious!! I got to work right away and 7-8 months later I created her wedding song. I am proud of it and it's something very special to me.

Since then I have been composing my own songs. Feels good to compose songs that mean something to me. I've a very passionate person so I try to play things that represent me as a person.

I'm currently back to my piano making a new song and I'm excited to see what happens.
