Guys, I am beyond excited to introduce y’all to the latest and greatest iteration of andantepianoworks.com. This has been well over a year in the making and I am so thrilled for everyone to see it. I must give the the most immense of thanks to my powerhouse design studio, @sarahmoonco and especially @sarahbethmoon for her patience, creativity, and unbelievable skill in creating a website that is modern, fresh, oh so easy to navigate, and represents everything I am as a piano technician. So I came back from a really terrific little respite in the northern wilderness of #Michigan and first thing I did was make a rather dramatic alteration to the Sacred Laguna #bandsaw before performing the holy rites of purification and the sacrament of the prime cuts. The #piano Gods were beyond pleased with my appeasement. Rejoice! ForI am beyond certain that this is the #best cut of a #custom #steinway #keyboard I've ever done. The raw, unsanded keys went onto the restored and modified original keyframe like this... first time. Pre-threading a new OEM #Steinway grand #piano action stack is REALLY important. The flange screw holes come from the factory untapped, so if you don't pre-thread them carefully, you will wreck the new stack when mounting the parts. Proper alignment of parts will be extremely difficult if not impossible. #pianotechnology Detroitpianoworks.com
