@pibroch and I have been married for almost two months now, and I kind of totally blame this fic for everything.
My comment on Lucky Penny was the first time we talked, and of course I was drunk and crying. I wrote a full fic rec, and it’s still one of my favorite Steter fics. Clearly it was meant to be. :p Afterward, we spent a lot of time talking about the potential sequel(s) and bad touch murder family shenanigans. I’d send her random anon asks about Peter going to Stiles’ lacrosse games with orange slices. It was good times. Once, she went offline without warning. She was gone for months, so I used my research skills to make sure that there wasn’t an obituary somewhere. (Thankfully, she thought that was terribly romantic.) It’s been a little more than three years since she posted Lucky Penny and we first talked, but I can’t understate how much it changed my life. Sure, it might just be tumblr and screaming about werewolf dicks for now, but one day they could be your best friends or spouses. tl;dr - comment on fics and interact in fandom. You might meet your life partner and/or have an infinitely better life because of it.
Now that @pibroch and I are married, life doesn’t seem very different at all. I didn’t expect to feel a great change... but there is something exciting (dare I say wonderful?) about the domesticity.
I suppose what I mean to say is that I’m very happy.
@pibroch
Happy Saltiversary! <3 <3 <3
It was the beginning of the most beautiful romance the world had ever seen.
I’m heading back to the States tomorrow. It’s been a good 7 weeks, but I already miss @pibroch
