Bit late on #feegoodfriday but it's time for one of those long-ass posts on #positivevibes and that #happinessjourney ----- Okay sooo the new year is right around the corner....i mean geez 2018 where did you come from! Just this week, I thought everything was great and then boom.... nastiness just explodes across obliterating everything happy for a few hours. I'm not going to go into detail with what happened but suffice to say, I felt a lot of the confidence I thought i had shatter. Now that sounds super dramatic but it was true. I'm a lot better than I was last year and I'm getting somewhere with my journey but it just takes one asshole to have you crying for an hour straight and wishing you'd worn water-proof mascara! 😅 It's gotten to the point again that I'm hating my face in pictures so here's a #makeupfree #happy face that's actually genuine today. If it wasn't for family and friends like @gowsiga.s I don't know what i would do. I once went on this happiness retreat that was preaching about how true happiness cannot come from friends and family and they are material and thus impermanent but what I've learnt is that in order to find that inner peace that is permanent, it's pretty accurate to say that the circle of happiness, love and support around you grants you that. Granted that true happiness has to come within, sometimes it's that one joke your friend cracks that can make your day. So what's the point of this post? If you're feeling down and can't bring yourself up, just remember you are never alone. The people you love and love you help on that happiness journey... #pickupaphone Second point? It's okay not to be okay sometimes and crying doesn't make you weak. What is weak is people who have nothing better to do than crack cheap jokes on someone else's behalf without even thinking about possible consequences. #fuckbullies I digress... this second point is that by addressing what makes you sad and crying about it is stronger than pushing those feelings away or ignoring them. You can only be the best you when you allow good and bad in and out😌 Oh and, #mindfulness is absolutely brilliant if you struggle! Album update: 12 songs since Sept😋hehe
