Because I'm a straight-up-going-to-tell-you-how-it-is kinda chick!
Told the boyfriend I legit don’t like texting. If you think about it, our generation has limited the development of personal interactions/relationships to tiny chat bubbles. Talking on the phone or in person allows the conversation to have more substance. To be able to sense the excitement in the way the person’s voice rises, not through dumb little emoticons :P (like the one I just I did…)
So I say give your thumbs a rest, pick up the phone, dial up that number and invest time into caring what that person has to say! Not receive a message on how a friend is doing to just look it over and then push to the side to answer when you have time!
