“French Laundry” dinner by @blackmarketsc ▶️ Black Truffle Custard ▶️ Charcoal Gougeres ▶️ Lobster Pancakes (carrot brown butter sauce) ▶️ “Yabba DABBA Do” (wagyu, bone marrow potato, braised short rib) ▶️ Chocolate Veloute - They nailed the French flavours, especially on the 2 main savoury dishes. The lobster was perfect cooked, complemented well by delicate French crepe and a beautiful carrot brown butter sauce. The meat dish showed some brilliance of constructing and deconstructing classic preparations. What a treat! . . I once followed in the The French Laundry Cookbook.
