Sami smirked, waving the chocolate dinosaur in the air, “Betcha I can guess who was responsible for the last supply order.”
Fergal groaned, taking the package from Sami to prepare, “You don’t want to know how much da’s docking my pay for this...”
“I suppose I’m lucky he’s not grounding ya!”
“Believe me, I was sorely tempted...” Mr. Devitt paused to glare at his son, before looking back fondly towards Sami, “But punishing you for his mistake wouldn’t be fair.”
“Much appreciated,” Sami grinned, ignoring the muttered cursing coming from his barista boyfriend, “Can I get extra marshmallows?”

@steddieangstyaugust Day 4 - Sobbing Sunday: Angst with a Happy Ending
i’m challenging myself to keep all these at either 127 or 1,270 words each, see day one for more of an explanation!
It started with a text.
One that Eddie probably hadn’t even meant to send him, but there it was in black and white. Well, grey and white, actually.
‘i wish thgs were differtt. wish i could hav e You.’
It came in late, really late, like 2:43am late. And then Eddie didn’t even ask about it. Hell, Steve doesn’t even know if Eddie even knows he sent it, they’re together so often it’s rare that they even need to text.
There’s been a boulder of butterflies in his gut ever since he woke up that morning and read it.
Did Eddie have feelings for him?
Did he have feelings for Eddie?
A week after Eddie’s text, Steve decides he definitely does.
Then he sends a response.
and then they make out on steve's couch

“Yknow Sami...” Finn waved his dessert spoon in Sami’s general direction, “Just ‘cause there’s a banana in there doesn’t make it healthy.”
“Duly noted and ignored,” Sami grinned, digging into his banana split with gusto, “Besides, at least mine has fruit. What’s your excuse?”
“Dis is necessary for recoverin’ from my surgery, s’all soft and mushy...” Finn shrugged, “’Sides, it reminds me of you.”
“Aww, because you think I’m soft and mushy too?” Sami asked before taking his first spoonful of heaven disguised as hell.
“Nah, because yer pale as feck,” Finn smirked as Sami nearly snorted his mouthful of ice cream right back out.
“Goddammit Finn.”
“Chicken It Out” - A Finn Bálor/Sami Zayn Ficlet
“Did we really need another fried chicken place around here, Finn?”
It was always fun to see Sami being indignant at any other target than himself, and Finn was fighting the urge to laugh at the disgruntled expression on his partner’s face.
“Apparently so,” Finn replied jovially, taking a second look at the sign, “At least they do grilled chicken...might be handy in a hurry?”
“I will painstakingly prepare you months worth of grilled chicken before I let you eat here,” Sami grumbled, placing his hand on Finn’s lower back to lead him away, “My hopes of a decent vegan sushi place opening around here remain dashed.”
Sami began to walk off, but paused when Finn didn’t move with him. Sami looked over at Finn, who had a puzzled expression on his face, “What’s up, Finn?”
“Hmm, oh...it’s silly...just me reading things wrong again,” Finn chuckled to himself, “I t’aught that meant ‘fried chicken desserts’ as an option and was utterfly terrified at the prospect.”
“Eww...yeah...really should be a comma in there somewhere,” Sami stuck his tongue out in mock disgust, “I promise never to serve you any kind of chicken desserts.”
“T’ank Christ for that...” Finn grinned up at Sami, now happy to walk away from the restaurant knowing his appetite was saved for another day.
They began walking away, but stopped as Sami began giggling, “You know who would go for something like that, though?”
Finn thought about the question for a second, “Dean?”
“He absolutely would,” Sami nodded, “Better not tell Reneé about this place...”
“Agreed, Sambo.”
