Darry headcanons I have for post-headcanons because I've been having these stuck in my head forever so why not put them out in the world I can just delete it if I hate it

So I think he goes down either two routes:

1: he realizes he's gay but he decides to push it down because the society they live in

Or 2: He doesn't realize it he knows there's something different but he doesn't know yet

Either way he ends up marrying a lady that he considers a very close friend to him because if we go with the first route It's because you know he's not romantically in love with her but he loves her as a friend so he originally thinks that he wouldn't mind spending his life with her

Or route two he doesn't know the difference between romantic love and friendship love so he just marries her because he thinks this is romantic love when it's actually just friendship love

Either way everyone around him (except his brothers) starts kind of pushing for him to maybe start having kids because you know he's married now and soon his wife starts implying that she might want a kid...

So after being worn down enough he just has one kid one singular kid (I do have a lot of OC lore for this singular kid but you're all here for Darry not my stupid OC)

Mid 70s is when he either depending on the route he realizes he can't keep hiding it or he realizes that he is gay

Then sometime in the '80s he divorces his wife because he realizes how messed up it is to marry someone that you're never going to truly love as much as they love to you, also he wants to find someone that he loves he actually romantically loves and he is not going to cheat of course.

Parry on the other hand...I think they're going to be in their '60s or '70s when they get together (I lowkey headcanon Paul has an insane amount of ex-wives I don't know why he just feels like that type of guy)
